Getting Started As A Freelance Writer

January 10, 2012

With the release of the book and all the associated work surrounding it, I’ve been slacking a little on other fronts. I’ve had to be webmaster, forum poster, blog poster, blog designer and do a bunch of other jobs for the last couple of weeks, so I’m sure you’ll understand.

However, today I returned to one of my old haunts – HubPages – and began posting a series that should be of use to all the newbie onliners out there: Getting Started As A Freelance Writer.

The content’s pretty huge and long, which is why I’ve held off posting it here. Part one went up today and covers some of the preparations new freelancers should do even before they start looking for advice on setting up!

Hope you enjoy it. (And don’t forget to do the ‘follow’ thing so you get updated when each step’s published!)

I hate to be the one to mention it, Spike, but I 404′d when I followed your link in this post.

Nice site, by the way – I’ll have to schedule some time away from my oh-so-busy schedule to investigate further …

Hmm, that’s odd. It worked for me… but I’ve re-done it, just because! Nice to see you here, though you’ll find this place is mostly a bit of a mess…!

Thank ye, laddie – it works fine now. Mayhaps my ‘puter was just being naughty, but now I can absorb your words of wisdom without fear of denial.

    And … it’s NOT a mess!

    … it’s creatively disarrayed!
