The Word Philes 4

March 9, 2009

Today’s entry in The Word Philes is a bit odd, because it’s not really a pure text article. It is, however, a brilliant piece of work that deserves as much publicity as it can get, so it’s with great pleasure that I’m doing my part. The article will be very interesting to many of us and also a great learning tool for any teachers out there.

Over at Wallstats, Jess posted A Visual Guide To The Financial Crisis back in December – someone just pointed it out to me today. Admittedly, it’s a very simplified analysis – it has to be, given that it’s only a couple of diagrams – but it shows how the US economy reached the point where it went into crisis.

Beautifully presented, clear and concise, it’s a great piece of work and shows how a presentation should be done. Pop over and have a gander: definitely worth your time.
